A lovely antique blister pearl stick pin from the Edwardian era, c1900's. Made of 9ct rose gold, the stick pin features one elongated lustrous blister pearl (aka mabe pearl). The irregular bean like shape and undulated surface gives the pearl it's own distinct character, the colour is a nice silvery white hue with subtle golden tinge. The blister pearl rests in a closed-back bezel collet and attaches to a traditional antique rod. The setting is stamped "9CT" to the back, denoting 9ct gold, and the rod is also 9ct gold (confirmed with test). The stick pin is housed in a velvet and silk interior antique case with gold embossed writing 'Stevenson Bros' Jewellers of Adelaide. The piece is likely Australian origin indicated by the material used as well as the case, which we believe is the original.
Perfect for the antique pearl lover, or any avid stick pin collector!
