This necklace has been made from a Victorian era brooch, the design alike the lovers-knot symbol which was popular in the 1880's- 1900's. The former brooch has been given a new lease of life as the pin from behind was damaged, (and too good to scrap!) The lovers knot design features alternate turquoise and white seed pearls interspaced along design and set into little collet settings, it is crafted in 9ct gold. Attached is an Italian 14ct gold square trace chain which has a lovely gleam at varying angles, it is vintage from the 70's or so. The total length of necklace is 17.5" inches.
