A timeless gold cased curb chain from the late Victorian era, c1900! The chain is gold cased (aka rolled gold) and retains a rosy gold hint with yellow underneath where the gold casing has worn back. In the day the chain was likely to have been used by a Victorian gent as an attachment chain suspended by a pocket watch. However today could be used as either a double wrap bracelet, short 15" necklace, or choker depending on your neck size. It would also complement as a 'layering' chain and would be the perfect companion to that antique seal, fob, locket or pocket watch! The solid curb link is lithe and smooth, there is an original swivel clip which is stamped "GOLD CASED". The curb link measures 5.00mm wide.
A versatile timeless antique chain, the perfect companion for that antique gold pendant!
