A wonderful vintage marcasite tulip bouquet brooch from the Art Deco era, c1930's! The brooch is made of sterling silver and the front surface is entirely lined with dazzling marcasite gems. A delightful tulip bouquet design is accentuated with curvilinear lines and three-dimensional tulip flowers, and further adorned with little marcasites lining each inner tulip profile too! Deco milgrain detail adds further flair and character to the brooch. The eye-catching design has a graceful unbalanced panache making it quite the statement on the collar, in whatever way you choose to have it positioned! A pin and revolver clasp is on the back, and a safety chain/pin completes the brooch. There is a natural darkened patina to the silver surface, adding further vintage charm.

| The brooch remains in excellent vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear and natural patina there is no apparent damage to the stones, and all are present. The revolver clasp works well with good tension. A wonderful vintage brooch! |
