A contemporary and bespoke estate opal and sapphire ring. Beautifully hand made in 18ct rose gold and platinum, this stunning ring features a solid white opal and one natural Ceylon sapphire along either side. The unique custom-cut high dome rectangular cabochon opal displays vibrant purple, blue and green hues in a stunning "confetti" pattern of colour. Sourced from the prominent South Australian mining town, Coober Pedy, this nice quality natural opal is characterized by a mesmerizing "Jelly" like appearance, or gelatinous look which transfers across the dome body of the surface when moved. Estimated weight of the opal is 1.50 carats. Resting along either side of the opal is one emerald cut 'radiant' natural Ceylon sapphire of white colour and eye clean clarity. Collectively, the sapphires have an estimated weight of 1.50 carats. The stones are set into platinum semi-rubbed settings with stepped height, timeless! Making up the rest of the ring is a sturdy rose gold half round shank measuring 5.70mm and tapering to 4.50mm wide at the base. Stamped "750" "Pt" Max" denoting 18ct gold and platinum, and makers mark is Max Langley Jewellers.
Finger size of the ring measures O (Aus/UK) or 7 & 1/2 (USA).
Upon purchase, the ring would be accompanied by a photographic valuation certificate for insurances purposes, carried out independently by a registered NCJV/FGAA valuer. *The current Retail Shop Replacement value of the ring is $6,960 AUD.
