A sleek sapphire ring dating back to the 70's! The smooth parallel lines give this ring a contemporary look and the simplicity easily allows for wear with other rings ... although would look just as nice alone! A perfect design to show off the stunning sapphire which sits proud in a four claw setting. The emerald-cut sapphire is a beautiful 'royal' blue colour, it is eye clean and measures 6.99mm x 5.15mm, estimated weight is 1.00 carats. A beautiful quality sapphire -possibly Australian type.
Ring is hand crafted in a gleaming 18ct white gold with corresponding "18CT" stamp inside shank. Upswept shank measures 3.80mm wide near shoulder down to 2.30mm at base. Setting height measures 7.50mm. Finger size is N 1/4 and can be adjusted to a degree. The vintage ring presents in excellent condition, besides light normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage. Ring has had a light clean.
A lovely quality ring which would be suitable as an alternate engagement ring, anniversary ring or dress ring. Or perhaps a September birthstone ring! The straight sides to this ring gives the advantage of other ring/s sitting flush beside.
