Here is a wonderful gold mourning hair brooch from the Victorian era, circa 1870! Made of 9ct gold, this antique brooch features beautifully woven ash blonde hairwork encased in a glass-framed oval swivel compartment. The reverse of the compartment has a woven fabric behind glass. Decorative black enamel work adorns the knot style three-dimensional border with a metal pin and c-clasp, along with safety chain and pin to the reverse. The brooch measures 3.00cm x 2.10cm
