A charming vintage elephant key ring from the mid to late 20th century! This wonderfully detailed elephant is made of solid sterling silver including the chain and key ring attachment. The three dimensional elephant is superbly expressive, appearing to be in walking motion with an upturned trunk, swaying tail, and large floppy ears appearing to be in a walking motion... just adorable! An all-over textured surface mimics the wrinkled skin, and grooved eyes and trunk tip adds further character. The key ring is stamped 'STERLING ' and '520' to the elephant and key ring attachment. Tests indicate solid sterling silver.
The key ring measures 8.50cm total length, and the elephant measures 2.50cm height x 3.80cm long. Total weight of the key ring is 35.75 grams - it is a solid silver construction, not hollow.
