A wonderful conversion watch case pendant from the Retro era, circa 1950! Made of solid 9ct rose gold this pendant started it's life as a ladies wrist watch, however the Cyma mechanism inside was not repairable so we have transformed into a chic pendant. The eye catching piece features gorgeous Retro traits and Art Deco elements including fluted streamlined lugs and link, cubical case, and large O ring. Two additional 9ct gold jump rings have securely been added to the top, allowing for a chain of your choice to attach from.
Inside the case bears stamps "HANDLEY" over "hand" motif (Australia's largest watch case manufacturer) "CYMA" (prestigious watch brand) and "9CT" denoting 9ct gold. And to the back of the case is a crisp hand engraved message "AVIS EASTER 1950" … adding further endearing charm!
An applied rotating circle finish to the inner case surface gives further Retro character and lovely appeal when viewed through the glass.
The back of the case can be detached allowing for your special keepsakes to be stored inside. Style to suit to your desired requirement, and look!
