A wonderful Mariner gold link necklace. Made of 9ct yellow gold, this gender-neutral necklace is made of interlocking twisted oval links with a polished bar down the center, the style is also known as the Anchor link. Unlike the standard Mariner style link, this slightly fancier style gives a unique appearance which is aesthetically pleasing.
The longer 62.5cm (23+") length allows for the necklace to be slipped on and off overhead. Link width measures 4.30mm. Complete with quality finals and a secure parrot clasp, each stamped with Italian "UNOAERRE" marks and "375" denoting 9ct gold.
The Mariner style chain holds a long history with sailors and fisherman (hence the name!) who wore them to keep their lucky charms close to their hearts on their long voyagers. The design first appearing in the early 1800's.
