A lovely vintage modernist-style rose quartz pendant necklace from the Retro era, c1960. Made of sterling silver and suspended on a 70cm sterling cable chain, this lovely vintage piece depicts a pendulum with one natural rose quartz stone resting at the center. The smooth oval cabochon quartz displays a champagne pink hue with internal striations indicative of earth-mined quartz. An angled 'orbit' surrounds the rose quartz, and a smoothly polished 'rod' attaches above which has a front half-loop to top allowing for chain to thread through. The piece is in the style of renowned Finish designer Elis Kauppi, albeit it only bears the silver guarantee mark "STG SIL". Nevertheless, a stunning modernist pendant necklace.
