This exquisite mid-20th century cultured Akoya pearl necklace, dating from circa 1960, features a stunning 30-inch opera-length design, showcasing eighty-two lustrous Akoya saltwater type pearls ranging from 7.95mm to 8.40mm in size. Newly handstrung and knotted, the necklace is complemented by a beautifully crafted 18ct gold clasp adorned with a cushion cut garnet and Akoya pearl halo, enhancing its luxurious appeal.

Upon purchase the vintage Akoya pearl necklace would be accompanied by a photographic valuation certificate for insurances purposes, carried out independently by a registered NCJV/FGAA valuer. *The insurance replacement value of the necklace dated 30th of September 2024 was $10,450 AUD.
