A sweet diamond flower ring from the mid to late 20th century! Made of 14ct yellow gold and white gold setting, this gorgeous flower ring dazzles with one natural diamond at the centre of eight gleaming white gold petals. Resting in a flush tension like design, the white diamond is estimated to weigh 0.12 carats with a nice VS clarity and H-I colour grade. The central flower setting forms into a solid grooved undercarriage which tapers inward to the base. A yellow gold tapered shank forming into solid rounded paddle style shoulders makes up the rest of the ring. Stamped '585 EGF' '12' denoting gold guarantee (14ct solid gold) and likely the maker (EGF) and diamond size (12).
Finger of the ring measures R (Aus/UK) and 8 & 3/4 (USA).

The condition of the vintage ring is very good. Besides general surface wear, (mainly to the white gold petals), the mount itself is in excellent order retaining a nice gold gleam. The diamond is intact with no facet edge abrasions or nicks, and resting firmly in it's setting. A wonderful vintage ring! |
