A wonderful and unique rutilated quartz ring from the mid to late 20th century! Hand crafted in 18ct yellow gold, this uniquely bold yet simple bezel design boasts a gorgeous en cabochon quartz gemstone with golden rutile. The rutilated quartz shows off lustrous golden strands of the mineral rutile internally, creating a striking and mesmerizing visual from every angle! Estimated weight of the rutilated quartz is 12.50 carats. A sleek bezel collet holds the stone beautifully, and a smooth graduated 3mm - 7mm wide band makes up the rest of the ring. Stamped '78' to the outside of the ring and 'D70%' inside, tests indicate solid 18ct yellow gold.
Finger size of the ring measures 'R' (Aus/UK) and '8 & 3/4' (USA).
