A wonderful aquamarine and diamond ring from the mid to late 20th century, c1975! Handmade in 18ct white gold, this beautiful ring boasts one 4.52ct aquamarine stone with six sparkling diamonds on the sides. The emerald-cut aquamarine displays a beaming mid blue hue and has exceptional eye clean clarity, giving a stunning glistening reflection when worn. Resting in a four-corner claw setting, the aquamarine is raised in an open single collet undercarriage allowing light to shine through. Stepped down each side is three single cut diamonds weighing approx 0.09ctw, all twinkling within a rectangular beaded plate. A sturdy upswept and flat round profile shank makes up the rest of the ring, measuring 3.70mm wide at the base to 6.40mm wide at the top of the upswept shoulder. Stamped "18CT" denoting 18ct white gold.
Finger size of the ring measures 'N' (Aus/UK) or '6 & 3/4' (USA).

The condition of the vintage ring is very good. Besides general surface wear, the mount itself presents in excellent condition with claws intact and stones secure. The aquamarine does have some light table wear consistent with age, albeit difficult to detect to the naked eye. A wonderful vintage ring! |
