A wonderful antique dome wedding band from the Edwardian era! Crafted in 18ct lush buttery yellow gold this solid antique band has a smooth rounded dome profile and melts onto the finger. Made by South Australian jewellery firm Stevenson Brothers around the turn of the 20th century, this beautiful band measures 4.30mm wide and 2.00mm thick and is a finger size N (Aus/UK) or 7 (USA). The weight is just short of 6 grams. Older crisp stamps 'STEVENSON' and "18CT" can be sighted to the inside of the band.

Stevenson Brothers were a notable early Australian jewellery firm founded around 1878. By the end of the 19th century Stevenson Brothers had become one of the most well known jewellery houses in Adelaide, South Australia, ceasing up around the mid 20th century.

The overall condition of the antique band is very good. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold, sustaining typical surface wear & tear consistent with age - it can be polished like new, if you desire
