A wonderful & timeless vintage diamond ring from the Art Deco era, c1925! Made of 18ct yellow gold and platinum topped, this charming vintage ring features a hexagon set diamond at the centre with twinkling diamond shoulders.
The early brilliant cut diamond rests flush in a platinum beaded hexagon top plate with yellow gold hand-pierced parallel line gallery. The diamond exhibits F/G colour and P2 clarity, and estimated weight of the diamond is 0.19 carats. Tapered and upswept shoulders twinkle with two bead-set Swiss cut diamonds, also set into platinum tops. A decorative milgrain-edging to the platinum settings add lovely Art Deco panache. Making up the rest of the ring is a smooth yellow gold 2.00mm wide shank. Stamped "18" inside the shank, denoting 18ct gold, and tops have been tested affirming platinum - distinctive of the Art Deco era!
