A wonderful strand of Baltic amber beads from the Art Deco era, c1920! The hand-strung strand comprises of varying rich butterscotch natural amber beads. The forty-seven oval shaped beads exhibit an opaque quality with a unique hue to each, some beads are marbled, yet all amalgamate beautifully to form a wonderful long bold strand. Little gold-tone beads are inter-spaced along the strand, and there is no clasp, allowing the generous 30" length to easily slip on and off overhead. The largest amber bead measures 32mm x 29mm, and the smallest amber bead measures 11.00mm x 9.00mm.
An outstanding strand which would look gorgeous coupled with other beaded necklaces for a layered look, or just as nice worn alone!
