Such a sweet little vintage diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco era, c1930's! This charming vintage engagement ring is made of 18ct yellow and white gold. All handmade the vintage ring is gorgeous with a lovely two-tone design - white gold top plate, yellow gold shank and undercarriage. The diamond rests in a beaded setting and is surrounded by a distinct octagonal border. An early brilliant cut diamond sparkles from the centre, it measures 2.70mm diameter, and approximate weight is 0.07 carats. The diamond is flanked with upswept deco detailed shoulders, hand-engraved 'dummy settings' (and at a quick glance would almost look as if little diamonds are there!). The lovely undercarriage is hand-pierced with a horizontal line. A delicate shank measuring 1.80mm to 1.00mm at base makes up the rest of ring.
The ring is stamped "18CT" denoting 18ct gold, as well "H.G.P" which is likely to be the makers mark.
A charming little vintage engagement ring, and today would suit as an anniversary ring, eternity ring, or stack ring! This beautiful ring sits well with a straight-sided wedding ring.
