A unique estate citrine and pearl necklace from the 1880's! The hand-made gold-plated wire necklace features five citrine gemstones and five baroque pearls. The wonderful fringe/garland design comprises of five citrine gemstones which are drilled and suspended from five separate drops, each twinkling and dancing at the bottom. The faceted oval citrines have a warm honey yellow to orange yellow hue, each vary in size from largest at the center to smaller either side. Resting in between the citrine and gold wires are little white baroque pearls, which look lovely next to the orange/yellow hues of the citrines. The hand-coiled wire chain give a distinct look to the piece, as well the open trefoil wires resting above each pearl. An earlier non-original barrel style clasp makes up the rest of the piece.
A fun necklace which would look great with a dress, or worn casually with jeans and tee. Citrine is the birthstone for November.
