A charming antique agate fob pendant from the Victorian era, c1900! The sumptuous natural banded carnelian agate piece is stunning with striking reddish brown ombre-esque hues mixed with white and translucent bands. The elongated style is typical early Australian. The cap and lower band is made of 9ct gold, a warm antique rose gold colour. The lower gold band features a shield motif to the front which is monogrammed with the name "Pat", and the 9ct gold cap is adorned with hand engraving and a lovely undulating edge. Three sturdy jump rings suspend from the top ring which can be attached to your favorite antique necklace!
The piece once adorned a dapper Victorian fellow as a keepsake fob on the end of an Albert chain, but today this beautiful antique piece can be shown off as a unique pendant for a lady or man! The variants of 'Pat' maybe short for Patrick, Patricia, Patrice, Patsy, Pattie ... to name a few English names!
