A wonderful agate bracelet from the Georgian era, c1820! The bracelet is made of 14ct gold and is a soft rose hue with warm yellow tint. Eight various smooth oval agate gemstones adorn the links, each rest in a classic Georgian collet dainty claw setting. The agates graduate from the two large rustic brown agate stones, along with two green bloodstones and three agates of varied patterns and earthy, neutral and dusty pink tones; all with transparent backgrounds and unified in a stunning example of mother natures work! The open back settings allow for the light to pass through the stunning agates, although one setting is closed-back allowing for the integrated tongue clasp connection (which secures nicely with a firm click!). A safety chain is connected for extra security. The Georgian bracelet has a gorgeous feel to it - smooth, fine and sits low on the wrist so naturally comfortable whilst wearing.

A beautiful Georgian agate bracelet which looks gorgeous on today, just as it would've two centuries ago!

Georgian, c1820
14ct rosy yellow gold (tested)
Natural agate gemstones; moss agate, bloodstones etc, oval cabochon cut (and two brown flat-top slithers), varying in sizes from 1.70cm - 2.30cm length x 1.2cm - 2.00cm wide
-
14.84 grams
7.5" inches (19cm) total length
The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Normal slight surface wear commensurate with age is seen upon close-up view. The stones appear all secure in their collets and the little jump-ring connectors are firmly fixed and closed over. There is a tiny nick to one of the bloodstones (seen under magnification) otherwise the agates are in fabulous condition. The clasp closes with a firm click
