A timeless signet ring from the Art Deco era, c1930! The early Australian signet ring is made of 9ct yellow gold. The centerpiece features a smoothly polished 'squircle' shaped signet. Three dimensional spear-shaped shoulders add a decorative design, which extends down to a fine shank at the base. Stamped "9CTAPEX" and V64" inside, denoting 9ct gold, design number and the maker; Apex was the trade mark used by the large manufacturing St Kilda firm 'G & E Rodd' from the 1920's to late 1940's.
