An antique coin ring from the early Edwardian era, suitable for a man or woman! An upcycled creation creating a comfy statement ring moulding beautifully around the finger and in a style complementing today's fashion. The ring is made from a 22k gold half sovereign coin, minted during the reign of King Edward VII, c 1902- 1910. The profile of King Edward can be seen on the reverse of the sovereign, the top of the sovereign at some stage over the 20th century has been polished back to a smooth surface. There are remnants of hand-engraved script letters, possibly the initials 'Ohe' albeit difficult to decipher due to wear. The 22k gold emits a beautiful sheen with a touch of rustic, an almost 'ancient' look. The ring has not had a professional polish as the level of polish to antique gold is a matter of taste. You may like to polish back and adorn the ring with your own initials!? A 9k rose gold 2.50mm wide band makes up the rest of ring. The ring is not shy on the finger - measuring 1.90cm along the finger.
An eye-catching, impressionable ring which is comfy and snug on the finger. Perfect for the gold lover!
