A dazzling five-stone diamond ring from the Art Deco era, c1925! The ring is crafted in 18ct yellow gold with platinum settings where the five early brilliant cut diamonds dazzle from. The diamonds are very bright indicative of the exceptional quality, estimated E-F colour and SI1-VVS2 clarity range. The diamonds are from the era when the round brilliant cut diamond was first invented, (c1919!) and are an early version of today's round brilliant cut ones. There is a nice graduation in the diamonds, the sizes estimated between 0.33 carats in the centre down to 0.14 carats smallest at the end. The total estimated diamond weight is 1.10 carats. The diamonds are set into platinum claw settings with a lovely coronet-style undercarriage adding old-world charm. A solid rounded profile 18ct yellow gold shank makes up the rest of the ring, the shank measures 2.50mm wide at shoulders and tapers down to 1.50mm wide at the base of the shank.

There is no stamp sighted to the ring, it has been tested to 18ct yellow gold and platinum settings. The diamond spread across the finger measures 17.60mm and the setting height is relatively low for a claw design, measuring approximately 3.50m from the finger. The low design makes it desirable alongside an engagement ring, albeit would look just as nice worn by itself!

A dazzling diamond ring from the charming Art Deco era. Timeless with an endearing history...
