A sweet pair of little turquoise dangle earrings from the Edwardian era, c1910! Made of 9ct rosy yellow gold, each earring has two claw-set turquoise gems - a smaller turquoise resting at the top and a slightly larger one at the bottom. The well-matched cabochon turquoise stones are a stunning blue colour with waxy lustre. Each turquoise setting dangles freely from a fixed ring. A screw-back fitting makes up the rest of the earring, the fitting is embellished with a slender tear-shape profile to the front. Each disc is stamped '9CT' to the back.
Selling as is - well-loved. The turquoise settings are slanted, one claw is missing and one stone bears remnants of glue at the back (seen under magnification). Albeit, the age-related flaws do not appear to compromise the security of the turquoise stones. The screw-back fittings are in excellent antique condition. *Priced accordingly.
A sweet little dangle in the lobe with a small splash of blue!
