A wonderful upcycled ruby ring crafted in a vibrant 18ct yellow gold, the minimalist design suitable for a man or woman! The ruby started its life as an earring, missing the other half to the pair our jeweller repurposed the single claw-set ruby into this timeless ring. Perfectly in proportion to the band, the ruby sits slightly elevated resting in a classic four-claw setting with lovely open scalloped sides allowing light to enter for maximum brilliance through the stone. The natural ruby weighs approximately 0.35ct, displaying a pretty intense pink red that pops against the yellow gold setting. The antique rounded-profile band measures 4.50mm wide. It carries a nice heft, and is sleek giving the ring a luxurious and comfortable feel on the finger. Stamped "18CT" inside the band denoting 18ct gold purity.
