These antique natural lapis lazuli earrings date back to early 20th century- circa 1910. The off-round shaped beads graduate in size and are connected with a gold wire looped in-between. The lapis beads measure 9mm to 11.60mm largest, they vary in colour distribution from a navy blue to violet-blue; gold flecks of pyrite are evident, giving the lapis extra character.
The 9ct gold screw-back fittings have high-polished front, the fittings appear to be original. This pair of earrings came with a lapis-lazuli choker strand - (which we hope to be putting online at a later date).
A gorgeous pair of earrings from the past, which would easily suit with today's fashion!

Very good with normal wear for such antique pieces; consistent with age- a few light abrasions on the surface of lapis beads, however not detrimental to these Edwardian beauties. |
