A timeless pair of opal earrings from the 1970's or so! Made of 10ct yellow gold, the earrings have a simple yet elegant oval twist design. Each earring boast a natural solid opal which is resting centrally in a classic bezel setting. The solid Australian opals are fashioned into smooth oval cabochons. Both opals are predominantly whitish grey in body tone, with subtle flashes of iridescent red, green and mauve seen at varying angles. The opals combined estimated weight is 1.60 carats. The rope border to the opals add a touch of flair to the design. Screw back fittings are on the reverse - traditionally suited for non-pierced lobes, however can also be worn on pierced lobes. Stamped '10CT' denoting 10ct gold.
