A stunning pair of turquoise earrings dating back to Edwardian era, circa 1910. Hand-crafted in the wonderful antique rose hue- a subtle pink colour. The antique earrings boasts four natural green turquoise gemstones - more than likely untreated, hence the greenish colour. The colour is a mottled mint green shade with brown inclusions ... exuding lots of character! The cabochon-cut turquoise are fashioned into an elongated tear- drop with round studs fitting on the lobe.
The earrings have been nicely hand-crafted in 9ct gold with corresponding stamps to each earring "9c" and makers mark "HR" (stamped to back of drop). A bezel with milgrain edge displays each turquoise beautifully. Adding extra charm to these antique earrings is the grooved 'flower' disc to screw-on fitting.
Total earring drop measures 36mm or 1/41" inch.
A timeless, stylish pair of earrings. A style still as popular today as 100+ years ago...
