This lovely original Victorian ring bears a crisp set of English hallmarks for Birmingham provenance, dated 1890, and the makers mark 'LBS'. The gorgeous design features grooves which form panels - separating the contrasting gemstones beautifully! Accented into the largest panel is one 2.25mm white seed pearl, flanked with a row of 3 rose-cut diamonds and ending with natural ruby gemstones which are set into triangular-shaped panels. The faceted round-cut rubies measure approximately 2.2mm and colour is a pretty pink purple. The 6 glistening rose-cut diamonds measure approximately 1.20mm- 1.40m
Ring is hand-crafted in 15ct gold, colour is a subtle yellow with rose hue. Either yellow or rose gold jewellery would compliment with this ring. Corresponding gold purity hallmark "15" ".625" placed inside shank.
Band measures 6.50mm wide at top to 2.50mm wide at base. The top section of band is relatively low - 1.60mm, making it suitable to sit beside another ring. Finger size of this band measures 6 or L, it is resizable to a degree.
