A wonderful vintage rose gold Slave Bangle from the Art Deco era, c1920's! Made of 9ct rose gold and silver lined for longevity, the huge bangle is designed to be worn above the elbow on the upper arm. A big hit in the decadent 1920's Deco Jazz-age era, a slave bangle was often seen adorning the bare arm of a woman dressed with a evening or summer dress. The bangle has a gorgeous rose gold hue which gleams from the surface and a smooth oval-shaped tube allows for a comfy fit. The bangle is stamped "9CT SILVER LINED" along with other stamps which are difficult to decipher, likely the makers marks. The large-sized bangle measures 9 ½" inner circumference (3" diameter) and tube measures 6.80mm wide.
A timeless and elegant bangle, whether holding up a sleeve, worn above the elbow (as in the Deco-era!), or worn as a classic wrist bangle stacked with others or alone!
