A fabulous antique scarab beetle brooch from the Victorian era c1880! The gold filled brooch showcases three real scarab beetle relics! The textured dome beetles display a subtle iridescence of natural bottle-green with almost black near the center. The oval-shaped beetles rest in a fancy claw closed-back collet, each embellished with rope borders. A granule decorates in between. An elongated pin, tubular hinge and c-clasp are attached to the back.
