A very cool and collectible turquoise studded antique cigar cutter from the Edwardian era, c1910! The cigar cutter is made of white metal and matte black gunmetal appliques to the front and back, a rose gold softly faded gilding to the lower shell adds further antiquity contrast! The gunmetal appliques are studded with little blue turquoise gems to the front and back, the colour contrast between the matte black and blue is lovely. The top ring of the piece can be pushed to open the 'guillotine' cutter, and then pushed in to cut the cigar. A rose-hued rolled gold jump ring attaches to the top where it can be worn as a quirky pendant, or perhaps even a key ring. A gorgeous novelty piece of yesteryear!

he antique cigar cutter presents in good condition. Besides normal surface wear, the piece presents to the eye in wonderful condition throughout. All of the turquoise stones to the front and back appear undamaged and original. There are no dings or major scratches, and the opening and closing mechanism works well - though the cutter is not as sharp as it once would've been. A distinct antique novelty piece!
