An elegant vintage sterling silver three-piece vanity set from the mid 20th century c1950! The set is made by Birks, an iconic Canadian retailer. A large and robust set, the sterling silver backs to the mirror and brush have finely incised Art Deco style stripes and the center's are monogrammed with script initials "EMJ" within a rectangular cartouche. There is a raised 'ridged' design at the top of the handles. The shaped mirror features a bevel edge - some age related wear is evident. The nylon brush bristles are all present and clean, overall in excellent condition. The faux tortoiseshell comb is also monogrammed and has a sterling silver top, one of the tooth's to the comb is missing.

Mirror- 12.5cm widest point x 30cm total length. Brush- 7.5cm widest point x 25cm total length. Comb- 4.5cm wide x 20cm total length
The overall condition of the three piece set is good. Normal surface age-related wear is evident. The mirror has some light scratches and hazy areas near the edges, and to the back there is a couple of small dents. One tooth to the comb is missing. Both the mirror and brush handle are in excellent condition. Patina is showing, the silver can be polished if you prefer.
