The antique locket presents in very good condition. Besides normal surface wear, the locket presents in excellent condition to the naked eye. There does appear to be an internal fissure to the bloodstone (seen under magnification), however it appears stable and was likely formed in the process of the gold plaque attachment. The locket closes neatly and the hinge operates well. A wonderful heirloom piece of antique jewellery! |
