The antique locket presents in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear the locket presents in fantastic condition to the naked eye. There are a few miniscule dings to the back panel which can only be seen at certain angles. The texture and engraving retains a beautiful crisp appearance, and the colour still bright. The locket closes neatly and the hinge operates well. Inside original frames and covers are all in excellent order, and the woven hair tucked behind is still immaculate, 150 or so years on! An elegant heirloom piece of Victorian jewellery! |
