A very adorable emerald and diamond poodle dog necklace from the mid to late 20th century! Crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold, this detailed piece depicts a poodle dog in a proud stance. The carved fur and features come to life with wonderful three dimensional details including a cute snout, curled & moveable tail, and neat floppy ears. The poodle is accented with bright green emerald eyes and a dazzling diamond collar, adding further charm and sparkle to this exceptional piece! The poodle pendant suspends from a sleek 18ct gold snake chain which attaches to the collar and tail of the poodle. The snake chain has a parrot clasp closure and is stamped "ITALY" "750" to the oval ring and clasp.
The necklace measures 53cm (21" inches) long and the poodle measures approx 3.80cm height x 3.70cm long (tail to snout). Total gold weight of the piece is 66.10 grams.
