A wonderful antique starburst pendant/brooch from the late Victorian era, c1900! Made of 15ct yellow gold the celestial 'starburst' design epitomizes the distinct elegance of Victorian jewellery and features seed pearls and a dazzling peridot gemstone in the centre. Twenty four natural seed pearls of creamy hue's through to silvery grey tones decorate the piece, finished with a pale green natural peridot gemstone resting in a central bezel collet. Milgrain detail accents the edges of the design, adding further antiquity charm! A metal pin and wide loop attaches to the back, as well as a wire attachment, allowing the piece to be worn as a pendant. Stamped "15CT" denoting 15ct gold.
