A sweet ladies Omega watch from the Retro era, c1960's! In working order, this lovely vintage watch is crafted in a vibrant 18ct yellow gold and features a round face and attractive textured band. The feminine design features a petite round case with a subtle silver-tone dial and darker coloured hands and batons ... allowing for ease when reading the time! There is a lovely faceted glass border giving extra retro flair! The dial reads "OMEGA", along with 'SWISS MADE" at the bottom. An Omega winder can be found at the side of the case. The fixed band has a wonderful Florentine textured finish along the centre, combined with polished gold edges. An inward taper to the band near the case adds an elegant touch, as well a subtle taper to the remaining band at the back. There is an Omega fold-over adjustable clasp, along with a safety chain for extra security. At the back of the clasp bears the gold standard stamps "18K" and "0.750", denoting 18ct gold. There is an engraving to the back of the case - "L.M.B" and "25.25.64" (likely the date!)
The Swiss manual-wind 17 jewel mechanism works well, not skipping a beat within 24 hours! The mechanism reads "OMEGA WATCH Co", "SWISS" and numerals "21343130". A simple wind of the crown to kick-start the cogs is needed every time it's worn.
At some stage over the years the band to the watch has been shortened - it's a very small length at 14.5cm (5 3/4" inches) long, measured from the longest clasp adjustment. It does not come with spare links and has been priced accordingly.
