A wonderful Scottish Star of David brooch dating back to the Victorian era, circa 1860! Made of sterling silver, the unusual brooch forms a six-pointed Star of David design decorated with Aberdeen granite. The outer and inner surface of the brooch is beautifully hand-etched with the Star of David motif. There is also a flourished hand-etched design to each corner adding extra texture and charm to the brooch. A small gray granite inlay decorates the center, it is surrounded with six salmon pink granite inlays, and further surrounded with six gray granite inlays resting at each point of the star. The speckled salmon pink and gray hue's typical of the granite sourced from Aberdeen, Scotland, and otherwise known as the "granite city".

A pin and 'C' clasp attaches to the back, along with a small ring. You may like to utilize the ring for a necklace to attach from to be worn as a pendant. No hallmarks are sighted to the piece, typical of the era and origin, a test indicates sterling silver.

A special piece of Scottish Aberdeen history, perfect for any avid Scottish collector.
