A timeless statement vintage gemstone ring from the mid to late 20th century! Made of 14ct yellow gold, the ring adorns a glamorous colour-change synthetic corundum which imitates the rare Alexandrite stone ... and it may also be mistaken for the lovely amethyst stone! The synthetic corundum stone is flanked either side by one claw set dazzling diamond. Sitting proud in a four-claw double collet setting, the corundum stone displays a stunning colour-change of vivid purplish shifting to strong purplish blue in certain lighting. The lovely emerald scissor cut of the stone adds a gorgeous boldness to the design. The estimated weight of the synthetic corundum is 12.00 carats, and the estimated total weight of the diamonds is 0.20 carats. The well-made solid constructed ring is finished with a smoothly polished 3.40mm wide band which forms an upswept shoulder design, adding a seamless and elegant appearance.
Finger size measures N+ (Aust/UK) 7 (USA).
An ageless design that looks absolutely stunning on the finger and is sure to receive complements!
