A spectacular vintage diamond engagement ring from the wonderful Art Deco era, c1925! Hand made of platinum, this stunning cluster ring has a striking squared frame adorned with a spectacular 1.05 carats old European cut diamond and a halo of twelve smaller old European cut diamonds totaling 0.36 carats.
The large dazzling old European cut diamond exhibits a G/I colour and VS2 clarity, and the smaller diamonds also have G/I colour with VS to SI clarity range.
The main diamond rests low in an open-back bezel collet setting with an open 'spoke' support in-between the main and outer diamonds, giving wonderful Art Deco aesthetics. The surrounding diamonds rest in an open back beaded and sectioned frame, and lovely wire scroll work decorates the undercarriage, adding further detail and style. A very fine shank forming open V shoulders make up the rest of the ring.
No stamps are sighted to the ring, which is indicative of the era, independent tests indicate platinum. The ring comes with the black London Berganza ring case, (where it was purchased).
Finger size of the ring measures N & 1/2 (Aus/UK) or 7 (USA) and is resizable to a degree.
Upon purchase, the vintage ring would be accompanied by a photographic valuation certificate for insurances purposes, carried out independently by a registered NCJV/FGAA valuer. *The retail replacement value of the ring dated 12/12/2024 is approx $17,485 AUD. A 2023 Independent valuation certificate can be viewed upon request.

| The antique diamond ring presents in good condition. Besides general surface wear, very slight stress fissures to shoulder joins, and fine shank, the ring presents well to the naked eye. Diamonds are all intact and secure in their settings. A wonderful period ring! |
