This dazzling pink sapphire and diamond ring is a delight to the eye! The estate ring boasts a pretty combination of one pink sapphire and sixteen white diamonds surrounding. Crafted in a gleaming 18ct yellow gold the ring sits low on the finger and is practical for everyday wear.. be it as a dress ring, special anniversary or eternity ring! A bezel setting secures the natural pink sapphire, slightly stepped down in height and surrounded is sixteen channel-set white natural diamonds. A square rim border complements beautifully with the square theme of ring. A sturdy half round shank makes up the rest of ring, it measures 3mm wide at base and tapers (in width and height) up to 4.50mm wide at shoulder.
The pretty pink Sapphire is estimated to measure 4.50mm and estimated weight is 0.70 carats. It has a beautiful saturated pink colour, with some characteristic light inclusions spotted under magnification - determining it is natural. Surrounding the pink sapphire is sixteen princess-cut natural diamonds, each measuring approximately 2mm and 0.80 carats total estimated weight- having H-J colour range and VS-SI range clarity.
Ring is crafted in a gleaming 18ct yellow gold. It is stamped "750" "78". Another stamp on opposite side is difficult to decipher- possibly the makers mark "15A&C". Ring is in excellent estate condition, besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage and looks to have had little wear. Ring has had a clean and polish - ready for immediate wear..
