A wonderful pair of upcycled amber dangle earrings! These gorgeous earrings comprise of 18ct gold hand engraved caps from the Victorian era, recent 10ct gold shepherd hook fittings and beautiful natural amber briolettes. The faceted amber display a lovely glow as they sway in the lobe. There are 'sun spangle' inclusions indicative of the more desirable and typical clarified amber process ...adding a pretty radiance! The golden yellow hue of the amber is stunning, as is the transparency - one is slightly darker in hue, albeit it is not evident whilst wearing. The 18ct gold caps entire surface features an ornate hand engraved pattern which has a nature-like feel... amalgamating with the amber perfectly! Plain 10ct gold bead-end shepherd hook fittings make up the rest of the earrings, giving a sleek length whilst allowing an elegant sway on the lobe. No stamps are sighted to the gold, however an XRF test indicates 18ct gold caps and 10ct gold fittings.
A unique pair of upcycled amber dangle earrings, a wonderful heirloom for years to come!
