A charming Art Nouveau flower and foliate repousse purse from the turn of the 20th century. English hallmarked with birmingham 1909, the makers marks not so clear with what looks to be possibly E.C. This rare and pretty collectible features flower and foliate repoussing to the front and elaborate script letters hand-engraved on the reverse. Purse is attached to a chain and ring. Opens and closes shut securely. The interior is needing some TLC with the resin lining broken and fabric lining torn. Exterior is in excellent antique condition.
