A wonderful antique heart locket from the Edwardian era, c1910! Made of gold-filled with metal base frame, the gold hue is a lovely warm antique rose. The locket features to both sides stunning hand chased detail of fanciful scrolls and flourishes in typically detailed Art Nouveau style. A central unmonogrammed fancy shield cartouche to either side gives a beautiful gleaming presence … perhaps for your bespoke initials to adorn!? Inside reveals frames to both sides with original turquoise blue liner and card liner to opposite side, there is also a plastic cover to one side for photo protection, if you wish to store a photo. The locket opens and closes nicely with a soft snap. A new 9ct rose gold jump ring to the top has been added. The size of the locket measures 2.80cm length (without jump ring) x 2.50cm width... not too big, not too small … just right!
